Chevrolet: Auto Environment Label will be the pioneered

As lawmaker all over the world increased the environmental standards for the vehicle which the automakers must abide with.

Chevrolet once again will go further by making their vehicle an environmental standard by having an Ecologic environmental labels on every vehicle sold in the dealership. The said label will be seen in the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic, showing their environmental progress and effort; and making their vehicles a green vehicles.

Hope to see other automakers follow this standard in the future which Chevrolet did.

2013 Chevrolet Malibu: Nationwide launching

Chevrolet already rolled out their first batch of 2013 Chevrolet Malibu Eco in North America. Tha said vehicle was manufactured in Fairfax in Kansas City. Last time, I post an article about the spy-shot images of the Chevrolet MPV in China, at the same time, I wrote that details of the said vehicle. Today, it is official, the image of the Chevrolet MPV was officially released at the 2012 New Delhi Auto Expo in India — Not bad on the design.

The said design was done collaborated with Lotus, they tweak for six-months the chassis of the vehicle and emphasize on the safety of the passenger. A possible that this vehicle will released for Asian market which I think that it will be a hit because of the seven to eight seating capacity, ideal for family ride or business used.

This vehicle would defintely compete in small-size MPV like Suzuki APV and Toyota Avanza/Xenia. And hoping that the model would have a selection of engines to choose from, like in China.

I spot this one at the 2011 Manila Auto-Salon. The owner did an urban-camouflage paint to his Chevrolet Corvette C6 car. A perfect project car.

With the success of Chevrolet Motors with their Captiva in terms of sale. Chevrolet will yet again release their new version for this model, the 2012 Chevrolet Captiva. The said is equipped with tons of amenities to enhance and assist the driver in any condition and terrain.



Very apprent on the 2012 Chevrolet Captiva is the looks, the image is like a European suv, with the spirit of being Asian. It is like the Asian version of the Chevrolet Equinox and with more aggressive looks though; similar to Hyundai Santa-Fe. Eventhough the 2012 Captiva is detuned, the primary focus of this is, being a fuel-efficient compared to the previous model; 2012 Chevrolet Captiva has a horsepower of 168 at 5600rpm while the 2011 Chevrolet Captiva is 177 hp at 6400rpm, but, here is the good part, the torque of the new Captiva has a 229 NM at 4600 rpm compared to the present Captiva of 228 NM at 4800 which is a good thing if you are into the fuel-efficient side; meaning, you will have less step on the gas while achieving the desired power of the vehicle, less gas consumption. Another good thing about the 2012 Chvrolet Captiva is that, the engine is now ready for ethanol at 15% (E15) as compared to 10% (E10), which will be more fuel-efficient.

Now, since Christmas is coming and your planning to buy a new SUV, I think you might consider the 2012 Chevrolet Captiva. I recommend that you hold first your money until Christmas to assure that this model will be available in the first quarter of 2012.
