Chevrolet at the Transformers: Age of Extinction

Chevrolet officially announced their models that will be included on the upcoming movie Transformer: Age of Extinction.

Here are the cast of cars that will be shown on the movie:


The 5th generation Chervrolet Camaro which transformed to Bumblebee.


The 7th generation Chervrolet Corvette which transformed to Crosshair.

And last Chevrolet Sonics and Trax are also included at the said movie which we need to confirm who are those Autobots, but the said models are on a Rally-setup.


Transformer: Age of Extinction will be shown on June 27 of this year.

How the new Chevrolet Camaro is made?

You got to admit that this models are the beast of Chevrolet, but any idea on how this car was made in the first place?

On this video, it will show you on how the Chevrolet Camaro was assembled. Take note that this was assembled in Canada and in North America, not in Asia Pacific region. So if you are going to buy one, you are sure that was made in Canada and North America.

2005 Chevrolet Impala in Pepsi's "Test Drive 2" Commercial

This is a funny video, a Pepsi commercial gone viral today when the famous driver Jeff Gordon disguised as an Ex-convict who became a taxi driver suddenly gone beserk when patrols pull him over. Funny is that the Jalopnik writer Travis Okulski was caught in the middle of the mayhem.

What they want to prove here is that Jeff Gordon's driving skills are a real and not fake as contested by the journalist at the same time promote Pepsi and having a good time. At the end of the movie, the Travis was convinced that all the scenes happened to this commercial are for real, and enjoying a sip of Pepsi of course.

Also, you will notice on this commercial that they use a souped-up 2005 Chevrolet Impala as a taxi.

Car-manufacturers in Asia nowadays are introducing cars that is small and compact, like Toyota officialy launched their Toyota Wigo in Asia specifically Philippines. Well the only reason that they offer this models is because of the high demand on fossil fuel which are already expensive for an average motorist on a daily basis at the same time living an fast paced Urban setup.

Regardless of how small they will offer the car and having a hype and buzz on how it is fuel-efficient, still if that car relies on gasoline then it is not fuel-efficient because the motorist will need to buy a gasoline fuel.

What if car manufacturers will embrace or introduce — at least — an electric car, yup, a car that is running on electric, kinda geeky but it is making sense nowadays and Chevrolet introduce their 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV (Electric Vehicle).

What this vehicel offers that will be considered a fuel efficient? Simple answer, it is not gasoline dependent but still performs like a gasoline fed vehicle all you need to refuel this car is a electric charger. Another, feature on this car that comes as a standard is the regenerative braking which charge the battery when the car is braking — law of physics.

Also, in the traffic situation, normally gasoline fed cars are still burning fuel even they are on halt unlike electric vehicle that you will just exert energy when you press the accelerator and the Chevrolet Spark EV met those requirements.

Guess, Chevrolet hit the spot in terms of bang for the buck vehicle this 2014 in Asia Pacific, they have release a winner to the consumer.

One of the variant that I am pertaining to is the Diesel variant, times like these where fuels are skyrocketing and you just want a fuel-efficient car that has power on it, then this variant will be your best bet.

The 2014 Chevrolet Spin have 3 variants to choose from, they are LS — the base model, LTZ, and LTZ gas fed engine.

Ok, I am just going to post the specification of each variant so that you have an idea what you will get if you invest on it.

First, my favorite, Diesel variant:

LS variant would be considered the base model of the Spin, it offers basic features that every motorist needs — just a 7-seater car not particular on those accessories which will come on the vehicle. This car also has the potential to be on the transport business too — airport taxis, short route or city taxis; Chevrolet offers a white color option when you buy one.
